National Fibromyalgia Association Hosts Inaugural “Walk of F.A.M.E.” (Fibromyalgia Awareness Means Everything) at The Block at Orange
ANAHEIM, Calif---Do you or does someone you love have fibromyalgia? Do you want to learn
how to have a better quality of life despite this chronic pain disorder?
On Saturday May 10, the National Fibromyalgia Association will be hosting the inaugural “Walk of F.A.M.E.” (Fibromyalgia Awareness Means Everything), a run/walk and health expo at The Block at Orange.
The event is part of the NFA’s annual commemoration of National Fibromyalgia Awareness Day. This year’s theme is “Caring by Sharing,” a nationwide, multi-faceted campaign designed to provide three different opportunities for support group leaders, advocates, patients, caregivers, healthcare providers and the FM community as a whole to express their support for the cause.

Cathy Silvers, who played the character of Jenny Piccalo on the hit sit-com Happy Days, and whose mother-in-law has fibromyalgia, will be signing her newly released book, “Happy Days, Healthy Living” at the health expo. Silvers, now a mother of four and a health and nutrition lifestyle coach, is also host of her own shows “The Healthy Living Show” and “The Healthy Living Kids Show.”
