National Fibromyalgia Association Hosts Inaugural
“Walk of F.A.M.E.” (Fibromyalgia Awareness Means Everything) at The Block at Orange

 

Walk of FAMEANAHEIM, Calif---Do you or does someone you love have fibromyalgia? Do you want to learn

how to have a better quality of life despite this chronic pain disorder?

 

On Saturday May 10, the National Fibromyalgia Association will be hosting the inaugural “Walk of F.A.M.E.” (Fibromyalgia Awareness Means Everything), a run/walk and health expo at The Block at Orange.

 

The event is part of the NFA’s annual commemoration of National Fibromyalgia Awareness Day. This year’s theme is “Caring by Sharing,” a nationwide, multi-faceted campaign designed to provide three different opportunities for support group leaders, advocates, patients, caregivers, healthcare providers and the FM community as a whole to express their support for the cause.

Cathy Silvers will be signing her newly released book, “Happy Days, Healthy Living” at the health expo.
“We are confident that through the fibromyalgia community’s combined efforts, we will continue to move forward in raising awareness and providing a better quality of life for the millions of people suffering with this chronic pain disorder,” says Lynne Matallana, president and founder of the National Fibromyalgia Association.

Cathy Silvers, who played the character of Jenny Piccalo on the hit sit-com Happy Days, and whose mother-in-law has fibromyalgia, will be signing her newly released book, “Happy Days, Healthy Living” at the health expo. Silvers, now a mother of four and a health and nutrition lifestyle coach, is also host of her own shows “The Healthy Living Show” and “The Healthy Living Kids Show.”
