National Fibromyalgia Association Hosts Inaugural
“Walk of F.A.M.E.” (Fibromyalgia Awareness Means Everything) at The Block at Orange
ANAHEIM, Calif---Do you or does someone you love have fibromyalgia? Do you want to learn
how to have a better quality of life despite this chronic pain disorder?
On Saturday May 10, the National Fibromyalgia Association will be hosting the inaugural “Walk of F.A.M.E.” (Fibromyalgia Awareness Means Everything), a run/walk and health expo at The Block at Orange.
The event is part of the NFA’s annual commemoration of National Fibromyalgia Awareness Day. This year’s theme is “Caring by Sharing,” a nationwide, multi-faceted campaign designed to provide three different opportunities for support group leaders, advocates, patients, caregivers, healthcare providers and the FM community as a whole to express their support for the cause.
“We are confident that through the fibromyalgia community’s combined efforts, we will continue to move forward in raising awareness and providing a better quality of life for the millions of people suffering with this chronic pain disorder,” says Lynne Matallana, president and founder of the National Fibromyalgia Association.
