I was involved in an automobile accident in June of 2003. Right after the accident I had severe pain for more than nine months. I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia during that time. I had heard of the disorder in the past, but didn’t know that much about it. My chiropractor suggested that I start exercising, but I didn’t think that exercising was possible because of my pain.
In May of 2004 Curves came to our area and I decided to look into the program. Immediately I was impressed with it and signed up right away. I noticed that after only a couple months of moderate aerobic exercise I was feeling better and didn’t have so many attacks of severe pain as before.< P />
As my two teenage daughters noticed that I was feeling better, they decided that they too needed some form of exercise. In December, 2004 they both joined Curves with me and now the three of us enjoy a wonderful exercise program together.
